I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. Color me *embarassed*. It's not that I didn't want to blog, I just didn't think I had really anything to say. I'v been stitching a little, certainly not like I have stitched before. I am in a bit of a slump. Not a full fledged "I'm never going to pick up a needle again" slump but more of a "I really don't want to stitch right now" slump.
I do want to show you my latest Halloween finishes though. I finished them a few weeks ago but well, you know....slump.

I'm working on Christmas ornaments right now. I am so close to finishing "Silent Night" by LHN. I have about a dozen ornaments to finish. I'm planning on breaking out the finishing next weekend when the David goes out of town. I have a list about a mile long of things I want to do so wish me luck on the finishing. I'm hoping that this finishing session will cure my "finishin phobia" once and for all. Geez, I never had such a problem before.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by....I am off to finish Sunday's dinner of pot roast, veggies and homemade pumpkin pie!

I'm sure the weather has something to do with it. I notice a few people are in a bit of a slump.
Your finishes are beautiful. I love your long Halloween cube. And the little witch is sweet.
Love your finishes!! Such fun to see! I'm trying not to get into a stitching slump. I have to get lots of over one done -- doesn't help. lol!
Beautiful finishes!
Glad to see them!
Joanie: We are glad to hear from yopu we all have had the slump bug one time or another maybe more.
Your finishes are adorable.

Great Halloween pieces. Finishing...you just have to dig in and do it! Me who has just finished two stockings.
Love that fat little witch! Great frame for her too. Slump seems to be the word of the week!
Slumps come and go, so don't worry about it. :) I love your Halloween finishes, especially the little witch. Homemade pumpkin pie sounds delicious!
I love halloween and your pieces are beatiful
Nice to see your work again.
Be always in stitches.
Oh my, I love your Halloween finishes - congrats!
These are great Halloween stitches! What is the finish on top of the Lizzie Kate that is all one colour? Maybe I have it somewhere in my stash! Great blog!
Your Halloween finishes are just too cute. I know what you mean about having lots of things to finish off, but not doing them. I tend to let things like ornaments pile up until I have alot of them to do. This way I don't feel like I'm getting out the sewing machine to sew one little thing together.
Great Halloween finishes! That adds a little spirit. I was wondering what happened to you. I am not excited about finishing and it takes alot of time. Have a great Halloween and let us see those ornaments! pj in iowa
Don't worry about missing your stitching mojo- you've had a LOT going on. I'm sure it will come back as strong as ever. Wonderful finishes!
What sweetly finished and stitched (of course!) beauties to behold!
Come on' mojo! :)
I think we've all booked seats on the slump train from time to time. In the meantime, you have DELIGHTFUL finishes to enjoy that you have stitched! Do you display your cute Halloween finishes together or do you display them all over your home?
I am thrilled to see you back to blogging.
Delightful Halloween-y finishes... lovely work as always!
Peaceful stitching,
Judy
