Photos

For a change, I am going to post some photos of my darling, John Foster, and the Halloween Sweetbag Exchange I participated in on the Legacy Embroiderer's forum.

Below is John Foster, my dearest, John, framed in a lovely burled frame. Doesn't he look fabulous? I love this sampler so much and I am so pleased that he is finally framed.

This is a photo of my Halloween display in the sun room. Blackbird Designs, Light Your Way, is displayed on the right but it took a lot of glare from the window and you can't really make it out. I love the ceramic pumpkin.

And last is my Sweetbag made by Connie. I ADORE it!!!! She stitched Lizzie Kate's, BOO, and filled the sweetbag with candy, halloween straws and halloween pencils.

So, all in all, not a bad post...don't you agree?

Your darling John looks fantastic in that frame! Are you sure he wouldn't like to come live at my house? :o) I've got some serious John envy...

Hi Joanie, Thank you for your kind comments. We are coping well with the loss of Mum. When we have one of those moments were we get upset we just tell ourselves that she is no longer in any pain and is at peace.

I have started stitching again after a break while we were looking after Mum. I find that needlework is a great stress release for me when I have to face things like this. When I finish The Token I am going to do Margaret Gibson. That will be my special peace.

Hope you have a lovely weekend - Sandra.

Ok, Joanie, I caved in and bought the chart for John Foster at a recent sale. It's all your fault, and I gave you full credit on my latest blog posting! :-) (VERY big grin!)
