I'M TIRED OF WINTER GIVEAWAY!!!!!

I AM SICK OF WINTER!!!!!

Ok, who's with me on this! Are you sick of Winter yet? I KNOW I am! So in order to drive away the WInter doldrums and to offset the intense desire for retail therapy, I've decided to hold another GIVE-AWAY!

This Give-away will be a celebration of Spring. So, if you are game and are sick of Winter, come join the fun.  Rest assured the give-away will be packed with goodies sure to drive Ol' Man Winter away!

All are welcome if you want to play along but once again, it would be nice if you were a follower but it's not required.  Please leave a message on this post ONLY stating how tired you are of Ol' Man Winter and I'll draw the lucky winner on the first day of Spring, March 20th.

Come play!

Since I'm from the same neck of the woods, I'm with you on the winter thing. We're of hearty stock but I'm plum worn out from worrying about the driving and the kids driving.

We've had MORE than our share of the white stuff this winter here in Ontario, Canada. Starting to stitch something for St. Paddy's day because thinking of March brings us that much closer to spring! (Plus the Irish in me was itching to start something!) :^)

Thanks for the chance at your give-away!

This Winter has just been Terrible! It is long and been one of the worst for me and my family. I am so ready for spring! Winter has just added to the many bad things in my life right now! Hopefully spring will bring relief for BOTH the outside and my life!
Thank you for thinking of this fun contest!

Well...the winter is long, but how wonderful is it to see that first flush of green on the trees that heralds another spring and bunches and bunches of tulips and daffodils in the shops. We need winter for that to happen. Can I join in the draw anyway??? Irene xxx

I think this winter is the worst that I've ever experienced or that I can remember. I'm getting all giddy because it may hit 40 next week. That's pretty sad! I'd love to be entered into your giveaway - and I'm a follower!

One of my favorite pieces I have stitched is a snowman looking down in the dumps and saying, "Even I'm sick of snow!" I guess we can be sick of snow or sick of weeding. Take your pick.

I am a follower and would love to be entered!

I can't believe I was not a follower! I am now......I am tired of winter because it has twice interfered with stitching plans! Once we were going to a shop up north and could not go because of snow and then last week we had a blizzard and our Tuesday night stitching was canceled. Sheesh! Spring will equal more stitching activities!!!

Please count me in! I want to see something besides all this white - I think we haven't seen earth color since before Christmas!

Yes, please include me, Joanie! I am up to my eyeballs in winter, the cold, the ice, the snow, the wind...all of it! Although I must admit, after I leave my office for the day (it is upstairs in my home) and drag myself downstairs for a bite of dinner. I do look forward to lighting that gas long in the fireplace and curling up to stitch! Don't do that when it warms up, but I can still curl up and stitch, and the best part, go outside without a coat on!!

Thanks for the opportunity to win your "Spring aka Tired of Winter" giveaway!

Tee hee--from your subject title I thought you were going to give your winter to someone. I thought perhaps you were going to send a box or a truck of snow somewhere.

I'm afraid I can't complain as my children in Chicago and Fort Wayne and my brother in NY have had things much worse than we have.

Nicole said...

Well, since I live in SC, I'm probably not as tired of it as you, but it will be nice to see spring! :)

Winter sucks because
Snow and cold weather makes me
Shiver and grumpy.

The sun is now coming out during the work week and the rain comes back just in time to ruin the weekend. Not that I will go out either way as its cold!!

What a hilarious picture! LOL!!!

I am sooooo sick of the bitter cold temps we've been having down here. I am just thankful the snow doesn't come along with it, but I also feel bad for those of you up north dealing with the messiness of this winter season!

Thanks for the incredibly fun giveaway opportunity!

Yes, definitely tired of winter here! Intersections are an adventure with trying to see around the piles of snow to see if anyone is coming... It's been brutally cold here this week. It's still -10 at 8:30 this morning. Not looking forward to going off to work.

Please enter me. Thanks!

I'm so sick of winter this year, not because we've had a ton of snow (we actually have been lucky in that regard!), but because it is one of the coldest I can ever remember! This morning, here in the Pittsburgh area, it was only 4 degrees. Day after day after day of sub-freezing temperatures really wears on you..

Thanks for the chance--I do love that snowman photo :)

I'll be glad to see winter gone. I hate getting up in the dark and getting home in the dark. March 20 has always been one of my favorite days, too, not only because it's (usually) the first day of spring, but also because it was the day I was born. :)

krayolakris said...

Gee that sounds like a long way away doesn't it? But it will be here before we know it! Here in NE Florida we are happy to get a chance to wear our hand-knits, but thankful we don't have to drive in snow. Love your snowman!

I am very tired of winter. I keep looking at bright colors and think of spring.

Even though I don't live in the areas that have been bombarded with snow and ice this year, Texas was hit harder than it has in many years. Normally by now I'm out planting my pretty flowers and working in my gardens. Not so this year....and I'm sick of it. I'd so love for spring to get here. Please enter me in your giveaway. I've been a follower for quite some time. :) Thank you for the chance!

Love the photo! I am a new follower. I hate, HATE, and really LOTH this Winter. Yesterday it was 60 degrees and we had so much packed snow that even some of that survived. This morning another 6 inches of the white stuff and got to get out all the winter gear again. In between we had wicked winds. I just know it will blizzard on my birthday. I NEED to see green things grow instead of frost nipping. Old Man Winter has been kicking our ass and we need Mother Nature to track down those ground hogs and get them to follow through. Bring on the Spring!

After I wear all my sweaters once, I am ready for Winter to be DONE!!! Yes, I live in Atlanta where winters aren't usually *too* bad, but that doesn't mean I can stand the 20 degree weather any better! Fortunately it was 75 yesterday, so I am a happy girl. I weep for anyone that's still getting snow! ='(

The snowman picture is AWESOME! =D
