Recently, I've been harping to myself about projects that I've done as gifts or as RAK's and the fact that I've felt like maybe it wasn't worth it. Well, I came across this blog and I am linking a post for you to read. It brought some things in perspective and I will no longer feel that my efforts were *less than* because I didn't spend money.
So here's the post:

Let me know what you think.

I couldn't agree with this more Joanie! I hate when people spend money on me - hate it, hate it, hate it! But I do so love to get hand made items!!!! {{{hugs}}} to you, as your efforts for others are never a waste of time and are always worth it :-) Thanks for the nice link.

I agree with her beautifully written words....it took her time to come up with them, type them and share them with us.

Great thoughts...thank you for sharing!

I recently had a dilemma about taking the effort to make a gift vs. going out and buying one. I certainly appreciate hand made things, and hope others do too...so I opted for that rather than taking the "easier" option.

I absolutely agree! Thanks so much for the link Joannie. I've shared it with my group. I hope you don't mind. It's a lovely article and oh so true.

Thank you for sharing that with us. It is so true, in life we can get back so many things but once time is gone it is gone.
